BRYAN BURGER - LEGENDARY DJ

DJ Bryan Burger is no stranger to the Malaysian club scene. Burger; as he is nicknamed by many can be labelled easily as one of the most influential DJs in Malaysia, as his legacy has pulsated through clubs for more than 10 years in counting. Music being Burger’s core passion in life, this has driven him to churn his infinite love for music, into his lifetime career of bliss. From humble beginnings of juggling through several record stores, his inspiration for his musically inclined talent grew. Burger eventually fell into place as an Organisational Manager at Tempo, renowned as one of the pioneers in rave and events organisers in Malaysia. Through 3 years of being a resident DJ via Tempo, Burger’s talent was fuelled into the Malaysian club scene in which his experience grew with skill and his drive for creativity in all aspects of life. In 2000, Burger branched out of the Tempo family and began his quest in building up his own record store and event company with his business partner; another renowned Malaysian DJ – Callen. Excessive Records has become a household name in the Malaysian club scene, and is known to be one of the leading rave and event organisers. Their impact lingers on in the minds of those who have had the Excessive experience. Burger’s eclectic style cannot be pin pointed into a specific genre as his has built a personality that solely belongs to his own. Deep grooves that trembles within one’s heartbeat, infused with a funky electro baseline, and a prominent hint of a tribal touch which soars through the soul. Burger creates beats that pulsates through and reaches into a heightened frenzy of rapture. Debuting and gracing the Malaysian club scene with his presence in 1998 on Valentines Day, Burger’s journey continues through his prospective and established career as a renowned DJ. Warming up sets for International DJs such as Sven Vath, Sister Bliss, and BT, have become a weekend party-fest for Burger as these are just a couple of DJs that he has played alongside. Clubbers who have had the opportunity to experience Burger’s tantalising sets will always have an embossed ambience to remember him by. Warming up for Sander Klinenberg rocked the floor of Movement Club as his raised the crowd to a frenzy of ecstasy with his eclectic style and funky beats.

Flaunting his versatility in style from warming up for the soulful funky house beats of Roger Sanchez, to the amplifying pulsating techno beats of Space DJs. Burger also promoted Malaysia’s first Acid Jazz concert featuring Incognito & The James Taylor Quartet. Burger’s legacy created at Movement Club is talked about by clubbers as without doubt the best experience they have encountered in the Malaysian club scene. His events and sets rocked the world of clubbers as his pumping and pulsating beats sent tantalising jolts through the crowd. Warming up and organising Kent Choice Extract which was considered as one of the largest raves in 2002 at the Sepang F1 Circuit, with International DJs such as Smokin Jo, Space DJs, Sasha, and Slacker to name a few. Burger also graced the Regenerate crowd with his presence in Cyberjaya as he rocked the dance floor with his urban pumping beats. Burger has warmed up for the finest International DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, and Kevin Saunderson & Goldie, to name a few. He has also played back to back with pioneers of his era DJ Gabriel and Ben Katana. His contribution to the Malaysian club scene has phased many as every event he has participated in intrigues the crowd into the hypnotic state of his eclectic phenomenal beats. His recites a long list of club residencies from the vintage years in ’97 at Arena, Rubber Room in ’99, unforgettable 2001 at Movement, Nouvo, Atmosphere, and carries on his legacy to Zouk 2004-2006, to name a few. With an endless list of achievements and experience, it is evident and without doubt concrete that Burger has a talent to elevate himself as an International DJ.

DJ NIKKI - FEMALE DJ

Nikki started djing in 2004 at the age of 20. Her passion for dance music has led her to invest her life into this career. She is one of the hardest working new local dj's pushing to the unlimited in this industry. Her efforts are to prove that a female DJ can get recognition away from the dancefloor.

Nikki has a strong background in music. She started to get in touch with music at the age of 8 and graduated from Yamaha Music School 9 years later obtaining the highest level certificate from The Associated Board Of  The Royal Schools of Music. She soon moved on to another degree of harder n louder music that's electronic dance music.

Nikki is a versatile DJ being able to flit between styles and shred genre boundaries. Her sets typically incorporate minimal, electro, electronic pop to tech house as well as her more traditional techno fare, making for consistently exciting, surprising DJ sets that never fail to rock the dancefloor and defy his fans' high expectation. Although still new in this industry, she has managed to secure spots in the finals of the Juice Dj and Pioneer Digital Battles 2006 with focused determination and her fresh talent and flair on the turntables. She did not just stop there. Recently she was awarded in the 'Heineken Music presents Juice Dj Quest 2007' as the champion and also the first female winner of Juice Dj Quest ever since this competition started few years ago.

All along, Nikki has played in several clubs, fashion shows, corporate events and company launch.  She had also play in numerous rave parties and big events like the Regenerate rave and Recharge Freeze. In 2007, she had made appearance in an outdoor rave party held 1st time in Malaysia which is the Recharge Global Gathering '07 and recently in Massive Worldwide Tour, an outdoor party in KL as well as WAVE 2009 Countdown Party @ Sunway Lagoon. Nikki has played alongside international DJs like Kelly Hart (Aus), JES (The Official Vocalist of Tiesto), DJ Diamond (Hawaii), Cosmic Gate, Erik Nilson (Sweden), Scott Alert and many more. many other Proving to be a favorite upstart amongst the Malaysian dance music community. 2009 will see her rocking the clubs and taking her newfound way of life into a whole new musical level. Her growing fanbase will only attest to this.

DJ JEEVAN - RNB / HIP HOP DJ

DJ Jeevan has been in the entertainment industry for the past 14 years spinning at most of all the clubs in KL. He spins a large collection of music various from Punjabi, Hindi, R&B, Hip Hop, Retro, Trance, House and Electro. He started up DJ career in year 1995 and was working closely with DJ Avtar, DJ Suki & DJ Sevan under the influence of Mega Sound Theque.  He has also performed with Sashi The Don while spinning at Sholay located in Damasara.

He is progressively involve in corporate function, sangeet’s, wedding dinner, company annual dinner, road shows, broadcasting & event management. He has also performed with DJ Bobby from Apnadj.com on and off at The Rupee Room. Recently he has performed with B21 live at Heritage row, Maison on the 9th April 2008 and DCS on the 28th November 2008.  

Dj Jeevan finds very important mixing his songs from beat to beat to keep the dance floor moving with the beat he plays. His selection of music has gone into many people heart that love his music and he also plays the new concept of music that makes everyone step into a new era of entertainment.
