We all love electronic music, and here Clubbing9 took this great opportunity to have an online interview with star DJ/Producer from Germany, DJ COSMO who have been DJing since young. 1. Hi DJ Cosmo! Can you give us a quick idea how you started DJing?
I had a band in the early 80s, played the guitar and was the lead singer. It was the start of my musician career and the beginning of Djing and producing music. Music has always been a part of my life.
2. If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be?
There are many artists I would love to collaborate with, so instead of naming just one I would like name a few like Gareth Emery, Nadia Ali, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Tritonal and many more.
3. Do you prepare your sets before arriving at gigs?
I always have the latest tracks with me and I feed off the atmosphere of the people in the clubs, gigs etc…their energy is what inspires the sets!
4.What is your favourite track(s) you have played during gigs?
Favorite tracks played are:

5. Can you describe an average day of your life?
Hmmm pretty busy! Starts off checking emails, office work, playing with my lil son, composing & producing.
6. What has been your favourite moment of 2012 so far?
Seeing that my productions made the charts
7. What are your thoughts about the future in electronic dance music?
The future…with electronic dance music in the minds of many young creative and talented ppl I see it streaming and living on. I believe we will be surprised of what lays ahead in the music industry!
8. Now, Come on… let’s share with our readers about your latest track promos, releases etc.
After successful Electro House productions on my Deep Impact Label, I continued back into trance again and produced the new Cosmo single “L’espoir ne meurt“ which will be released on Cygnus Recordings. It combines elements of different styles like Trance and Electro with an edge of Dubstep. It will be available on all download plattforms all over the world on June 8th.
