Tucked away behind Changkat Bukit Bintang, Palate Palette is a restaurant and bar providing visitors with a uniquely different experience through the creative design of its space and menu.
Palate
The chef serves up western cuisine with a twist and the best way to enjoy a meal is to expect the unexpected! The ‘Minimalist’ is a juicy hand-chopped burger served with neither buns nor greens, while the classic Crème Brulee, is unconventionally infused with locally-grown ginger. At the bar, take your pick from original creations like ‘Oh Boi!’, the outlet’s signature alcoholic asam boi drink as well as a wide selection of cocktails. All food and drinks are passionately prepared using the finest handpicked ingredients.
Palette
Happy, colourful and often interactive, Palate Palette’s surroundings seek to delight and amuse visitors. Every piece of furniture is carefully handpicked; some old, some new, each one uniquely designed to celebrate our individuality. Art in all forms is splashed across the outlet’s walls, floors and even ceilings. Art upstairs in the lounge comprises of a series of works by different artists, all working around the idea of presenting art, “out-of-the-frame” and unconstrained. Palate Palette is filled with surprises to entice laughter; even within its washrooms.
Palate refers to the senses that perceive taste; while palette to the artistic spectrum of colour, materials and ingredients involved. With this playful philosophy, Palate Palette aims to tickle ALL your senses. The inspiration behind Palate Palette is truly love – love of people, good food and creativity as well as an urge to challenge conformity in amusing ways.
