Born in 2006, Warehouse Project quickly outgrew its disused Bodington’s Brewery venue origins. Today, WP manages to balance floor-filling commercial appeal with underground, experimental electronica, and all under one roof, though it’s already setting its eyes further afield, curating the dance-focused Parklife Festival in Manchester this June.
Housed in an old power station, its non-stop partying is fuelled by liberal German licensing hours and an anything-goes mixed atmosphere that sees leathered bears rubbing shoulders, and sometimes more, with chic, club Consigliere, and can tire even the most hardcore with a potential marathon stint in the iniquitous darkness from Saturday until Monday morning.
