Wandy whose musical career began at age 19, as his love of music and dance needed to be expressed Wandy aka Dj One D was born. In the early 90s he got his first offer and became one and only Malaysian to join a Singapore based Entertainment Company Fusion Sound of Singapore, watching it’s evolution from the dance floors for 3 generations throughout Singapore & Malaysia….. With residencies at Malaysia’s top clubs like Shocks Videotheque Penang, Riverbanks Singapore, Ozone (Mar Vista Resort), Cinta (Rasa Sayang Resort), Highway 11(Syuen Hotel), Café Flam (Sunway), Upstairs@The Loft, Mambo@Penang Ruums!! Of Kuala Lumpur, Mystique @ Damansara, Cabana (Johor), Werners (On Changkat) & Zeta Bar (Hilton Kuala Lumpur).
Dj One D is no stranger to the club industry. Forward to the present day and he recently placed in the top club djs in Malaysia. His fan base is growing by the day. Armed with years of experience being on the decks, Wandy moved to music production about 5 years ago. His knowledge of music, charismatic personality and musical background combined to ensure the transition was very quick.
Wandy aka Dj One D most enjoys playing House, Tribal & Electro with a taste of Latin, Disco and Rock with R&B and Rare Groove. One half of House & R&B music you can expect to see and hear much more this generation.
He’s a crowd pleaser… not a DJ pleaser and will be wowing the crowds on from behind the decks so as long as he sees people dancing waving their hands in the air with smiles on their faces then he’s a happy gentleman. He projects excitement and positive vibes to the dance floor and every corner of the room.
Watching DJ One D shine in the booth is an experience in itself. The music and his mastery of it combined with his smile and immersion in the high octane level of his programming leaves the crowd feeling fueled up and ready to go on and on. It is impossible to just stand around when One D is behind the decks. The room becomes a living, breathing mass of movement and pure ecstasy.
Wandy has been lighting up parties all around Malaysia with high energy sets of House & R&B to mind bending Electronic. Wandy has played alongside International djs the like Stephan K(UK), Lavida (US),Sassy Pandez (UK), Marco De Booij(Holland), Glynn Tandy(UK) and more with Malaysian known djs the like Nicky C, Jungle Jerry, Dj Joey G, Dj Donovan and more.
Wandy unites the crowd and sets the standard how a DJ makes a great party. His infectious spirit is undeniable to all and he sparks with a brilliance which other stars just can't touch and with bookings coming left, right and centre he’s set to be one of the most in demand DJs in 2008...
This is one dj to keep an eye out for his because he’s one of the coolest down to earth guy, is a pilot on the jet and he looks great and sounds fantastic… what more can you ask for; )
