Funkzu started djing 11 years ago. His passion for music is greatly undeniable. Ever since he was young, he has a passion for music. When he reached 17, he got his first job in a record shop. His interest started to grow from day to day, promoting new released albums and tracks not only is part of his job but is a satisfaction to him as he was able to share his passion on music with people. He then realized that he need to move a step into the music industry because by just working in a small record shop will not take him anywhere. One day, he finally met the right person that had brought him to where he is today.

Funkzu started picking up djing from this person and he quickly get comfortable on the deck. His style is a mix of all kinds of breakbeats. He has managed to master all the basic skill in djing within a very short period of 3 weeks. His talent has proved to people that he was called in to play in 'Paragon', a rave party organized by Tempo Events in 1996. His first performance was a success therefore earning a lot of trust from the organizer and other local djs and thus provide him with continuous gigs. He continue to play in other big events such as 'Mangaism', 'Jungle Party' and etc. He also play in big named clubs like 'Movement', 'Arena', and earning a residency in 'Boom boom Room'. His talent not only take him to spin but also to produce music for few talent and model agencies. After few years in Malaysia, he flew to England to continue his effort in djing.

Now he's seen again in the Kuala Lumpur dancing scene. As his sense of music developed, he genre has moved from pumping breakbeats to sexy and groovy rnb hip hop & hits. Until today, Funkzu has played in many big named clubs, rave parties, events, fashion shows and other corporate events. 2007 will see him rocking the clubs in Malaysia with his charming mixing skill and big tunes!
