He paid his dues after majoring in audio engineering at an international college. He has been taking his skills to the next level ever since. An electronic duo known as Electro Fungus (A.W.A.D. and Jerry) was born in 2007. The first single “Sisa Sisa” made it on the airwaves nationwide.

Played in major events in Malaysia & South East Asia such as KL Ink, Sykosis, Electro Metro KL, Face 2 Face, Eclipse, Fusion ,Bassline, I Love House Music, Swinging onto 09, Entourage, Re–Structure ,PoolParty NY, Twisted, Sessions,8 of Clubs,Asian Groove & Etc. Playing this in event in KL clubs like Loft - Zouk ,Boiler Room, Bar Club,Maison, Heritage Mansion, S.I.N , Club 9 and the Six Lounge .Soho KL,Cloth & Clef and Venue(Jakarta) .

With the synthesizer as his favorite weapon of choice, his music is a collection of unique and eclectic sounds. Successfully moving on to gigs and events, his sets have been described as a blend of electro, progressive, tribal, jungle and house music. A.W.A.D. has proven to rock the crowd with much ease. Without a doubt, he has been gracing the decks within the club scene around Malaysia. His belief: music must be looked at from a wide perspective.
