DJ taKa
Di taKa (a.k.a. takalimc) is an aspiring house and commercial dance music DJ from Malaysia. Based in Petaling Jaya, this DJ enjoys playing upbeat vocal tracks which relate to his listeners and often gets the dance floor started.

Being a Party Rocker himself, Dj taKa is no stranger to the party scene. He is often found in the most ‘happening’ clubs and events around the city center of Kuala Lumpur.

His Story:
With a solid passion for sound and music, Damien Lim (a.k.a Dj taKa) began his journey in the Art of Mixing at age 16. Mentored under the guidance of Syko-G (a.k.a Malaysia’s “Godfather of Electronica”) he developed a strong interest in dance music, playing trance as his main genre to cater to the growing local trend of shuffle dancing in 2004. Building his reputation amongst the local shufflers with hard bass lines and melodic break downs, his aim has always been to get party-goers on the dance floor.

In 2006, Dj taKa took a hiatus from DJ-ing to pursue his interest in other instruments and music compositions.

In October 2011, Dj taKa, with his newfound passion for dance music, returned with a whole new flavor. Having matured as a musician and a performer, he decidedly spins his brand of commercial-and-house-music mix. With his experience in and passion for event organizing, Dj taKa also organizes some of the hottest small-scale private parties in town!

Ultimately, Dj taKa strives to establish his name in the dance music industry by playing music that listeners can enjoy and dance to.
