Started off his DJ career in 2005, misterAriffin has been closely connected and staying in the fore front of Global Dance Music scene coupling with the most updated information and music release, especially in his collection of driving, percussive but melodic records, his signature sound. Citing John Digweed, Deep Dish, Carl Cox, Sander van Doorn and Markus Schulz as his main influences, in addition with solid background of classical music education (accomplished pianist), obtaining the highest level of certificate from The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) and unique composition skills, misterAriffin’s eclectic selections always send the crowd into an un?imaginable journey of music. Although his signature sounds are driving, percussive melodic trance, he is also at home with techno, tech house & progressive house, proving once again that this uprising DJ is very versatile to say the least.

With gigs at Zouk Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and the Mansion in Bandung, together with his occasional Friday night’s gigs in Maison proved that his talent has been recognized not only locally, but also internationally. His most talked event, Digital Didge and Klubbers.Net Initial Party, also again demonstrated his talent and skills where he combined the driving sounds of EDM from tech house to tech trance with live band performance using the world oldest musical instrument Didgeridoo thus setting the dance floor into mayhem! He is inarguably one of the best raising Trance DJ in the local EDM and nightlife industry in the recent years.

misterAriffin spread his wings even further when he was honored to headline ULTIMATE DANCE in Bar Club, one of the biggest dance nights in Kuala Lumpur starting from the month of September 2008. The reception for the night was unbelievable; with the media were touting misterAriffin as “Malaysian answer to the DUTCH invasion”. Following to that, misterAriffin was roped in to MIST CLUB to headline their dance night, PINK MARTINEE, which was held every Wednesday from October 2008 onwards. In 2009, misterAriffin started to be recognised as one of the best trance DJ in Malaysia, with gigs in Warehouse under the FUTUREDISCO banner, trance night in RAW called “ILLUMINATION”, on of Club9’s most successful night called “Tranceformer”, and culminates to spinning in the biggest night club in Kuala Lumpur, Ministry of Sound, once a month Friday starting in December 2009 under the FUTUREDISCO banner, Kuala Lumpur’s premier progressive house night. 2010 can be said as his highlight year as a DJ, whereby misterAriffin has been entrusted as one of the headliners for Malaysia's premier trance night, TRANCE NATION @ Euphoria, Ministry of Sound. In 2011, misterAriffin started his own monthly progressive and trance night in Space Club KL, which is called ILLUMINATION and it has already set the benchmark for one of the most well received local dance event in Kuala Lumpur.

He followed that up with another monthly full?on trance night, which is called TRANCELAND where misterAriffin is the host of the night and showcasing top trance talents around the globe. 2011 is also the year where misterAriffin was given the opportunity to showcase his talent to a bigger audience, where he was entrusted to be one of the DJs in VELOCITA Asia.

Having played alongside the who’s who in the dance luminaries such as John ‘00’ Fleming, Alex MORPH, Jochen Miller, JES Brieden, Sied van Riel, Roger Shah, Arnej, Nifra, Keli Hart just to name a few, misterAriffin is surely heading to the right direction in the dance scene in Malaysia. A crowd favorite amongst the trance community in Malaysia, we rest assured to see him rocking the clubs and outdoor parties in the near future and bringing the clubbing scene in Malaysia into a whole new musical level. His growing fan base will only partly attest to this.
