He is obsessed with finding and exposing new music to the local music industry. From the age of 4, he has been musically trained from learning music instruments like the Piano , Electone (organ), Guitars and to the art of Turntablism and Djing. Till when it was inevitable, he’d start to create his own sounds at the age of 15. His original productions have been showcased on TV performances, clubs and live concerts. Most of his compositions consists of R&B , Hip-Hop to Experimental sounds that could be heard featuring various kinds of vocalists globally.

Known in Penang Island’s night entertainment as a Dj/ Entertainer/ Composer/ Performer from the year 2005 in Penang’s night spot “Glo Club” with Turntablist skills and Hyping Skills. Now he has build up his reputation in the night scene in Penang as a Dj from clubs to events along side with twin brother “K Wen” as an hype MC. At the age of 16,he had already produced and composed a track for female Canadian R&B singer/rapper “Baby-T” with single “Timez We Had”. The onset of Dj Chaoz’s DJ career occurred in 2002; now he has performed live on TV for estimated hundreds of thousands to a million viewers together with Malaysia’s Hip-hop act COLABR8 who was the nominee for the best Hip-Hop Album for the “2010 NTV7’s – 17th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM 17th)” and has performed along-side & together with known personalities in the entertainment industry in Malaysia such like Faizal Tahir (one in a Million/Pepsi Ambassador), 40G, 3 flow, Junio Hustle, Lapsap (Dj Blink & Dj XU), Dj Ken etc. and had shared stages with known personalities in the Asian music industry such like Agnes Monica (Indonesia), Ella (Indonesia), Daniel Lee, Lapsap, Dina, The Alley Cats, Ning Baizura, Ahli Fiqir, V.E, Joe Flizzow, Amy Search Etc. In the year 2006 Dj Chaoz and Colabr8 got tied into a sponsorship contract with Malaysia’s leading hip-hop and street wear

He is also the mentor and guru of the young DJ Sputnik (Tay Kek Khoon) who had recently won the National Champion of the “Malaysian Club DJ Mixing Championships 2010” representing the Penang State which puts this into one of his biggest accomplishments so far for the year 2010 for Dj Chaoz, proving not only he is well skilled on Djing but also trains champions.

During performances, he preferred musical palate consists of 2 decks, a couple of CD players and outboard effects. It’s typical to see him grabbing, twisting and manipulating clusters of knobs, buttons and faders with scratches, all precisely to the urban and commercial sounds. Not afraid to experiment, he risks humiliation before thousands. This makes MOIS the most dominant club in Northern Region Malaysia.
