Since early teens, DJ Evo was exposed to new sounds after his first few visits to clubs in Kuala Lumpur. It was the repetitive yet hard beats that caught his attention, then he began to adventure further into dance music.

Being the youngest Trance and Hard Dance DJ in Malaysia, he has made appearances at the hottest dance clubs in Malaysia, big events such as Recharge : Freeze series, Infekted (Hard dance event series in Australia and Malaysia), Freedom raves and PHD (Pure Hard Dance) and has played alongside Internationally known artiste such as Above & Beyond (UK), Aly & Fila (EGYPT), Thrillseekers (UK), Christopher Lawrence (US), Dark by Design (UK), Audio Damage (AUS), S-Dee (AUS) as well as Malaysian giants Bass Agents, Damien K, Fono & Nikki just to name a few.

Towards the end of 2008, at the age of 18, Evo was crowned champion of the Tiger FC Beat Battle held at Republic Bar after winning the hearts of judges and the crowd with his trance set, beating the other 3 finalist despite being the youngest one there. Recently, he also made it as one of the Juice DJ Quest semi-finalist of 2009, being the sole hard dance entry.

Till today, Evo has already mixed over 10 mixsets which reached fairly high download hits in Malaysia – 5 from his Resonance series and the most downloaded 30 mins mix - “This Is Love” which was featured on RadioKUL episode 057. More is yet to come while he releases more of his Resonance series mixsets.
