DJ Jaz
Compared to many others, Jasbir was among the Malaysian Djs that started spinning records fairly late, although his interest in music started at age 16. Only as of 2003 he took place behind the turntables for the first time under his stage name, DJ Jaz, and made the crowds rock with his sound.

At the beginning, while he was studying his sound was mostly influenced by ATB, Chicane, Paul Van Dyk and many others. Today, his sets show influences of various styles; Progressive, House and Electro and as well as Hip-Hop and Bhangra. To make the crowds rock out, he uses deep bass lines, drums and electro synths.

He first came on the scene with a lineup of private events, where he played his style and found out that a lot of people enjoyed his mixes, From there on, he joined a club back in Seremban as a resident dj for one year, after the exposure of various style’s he then narrowed down to playing only Hip hop and RnB as the local scene mostly enjoyed it. But not deterred, Jaz still enjoyed playing electro, house and progressive trance.

He got his 1st club gig in heritage row, Three Lounge, where he was under the wing of DJ Jeevan, after that he progressed to Rupee Room, Club 9 to Six, Borneo Rainforest, Trilogy, Chambers, and The Oscars where he was constantly was a guest dj. He was offered a permanent residency in Space, Heritage Row, but due to other commitments he could not take up that offer.

Now he is working up into joining the elite line up of dj’s in Malaysia as he still expands and influences all the party goers with his style of djying.
