Ivan C was a talented self taught DJ beyond expectation and he started DJing since 2008 where he is trying to explore & entered the world of DJs, with the guidance of Malaysia's superstar DJ, NICKY C. Ivan's plays ELECTRO, PROGRESSIVE, TECHNO & TRIBAL, where his music suits his style. Ivan continue to evolve to the club scenes. He cites Tiesto, Benny Bennassi, David Guetta, Chris Lake, Robbie Rivera, Deadmau5, Edson Pride, Daft Punk, Kaskade, Dinka, JC Mazter, Freemasons, John Dahlback, D.O.N.S, EDX, Bob Sinclar & Vandalism as some of their influences.

He first started at 3 Kingdom, Mont Kiara in August 2008. Then his first dj set happens at Afterhour KL, continues to Club 9 & the Six Lounge, Asian Heritage Row as guest DJ with Milkii Hani 'FAME' event night, and spins for warm up & end session for his own 'Clubbing9 Night' event night featuring local DJs at The Bank PJ and Blanc Le Club.

Ivan had gig lined up for Fluxed Magazine's 'Fluxtronic' nights, warming up for Malaysia's legendary DJ, Bryan Burger (Excessive Records), at the Boiler Room. Ivan C continued his gig by travelling from KL to Johor Bahru, where he spins for a night at De Bali, JB. On December 2009, Ivan C warmed up for DJ Ken a.k.a MasterK and DJ Too Tite for the 2010 NYE Countdown Party.

Back in the year 2009, Ivan C organised events club nights with partners called themed club nights 'Clubbing9 Night' on Saturdays at Blanc Le Club.

Ivan also played for an Electro Fungus event at Sicily KL, Jalan Doraisamy alongside DJ Syko G, DJ A.W.A.D, Rangga Muffin's and Blastique. Ivan C collabrated with A.W.A.D's Electro Fungus called METRONOME which is a club night on every Friday nights from June till August 2010 at Elysium Club, Asian Heritage Row.

Ivan C recently had 2 hours online dance music radio shows, broadcasted live in Homses.net Jakarta, Basslover Berlin & Santiago Radio Chile under Escade DJs slot on 14 Dec, 15 Dec and 17 Dec 2010. - http://www.clubbing9ine.com/inthemix-dj.html
