Eddy L

Eddy L’s career as a DJ is as much about fortuitous as it is about prodigious talent. As a teenager Eddy’s interest in life were all things electronics & having a good time with music. When he discovered dance music in the 80’s it came to no surprise that he took to it like a duck to water. By 1992 he had already spent majority of his weekends in clubs watching and listening to every mixes there are by DJs from the locals to the international.
He started earlier landing a couple of nights playing in small clubs in KL such as ECHO, CARBON & Café Flam, then moved on to a local dance gig done in clubs in KL which started with legendary club call MOVEMENT. It was those time that he was exposed to the crowd hungry for sounds of progression in electronic dance music all over the city from club to clubs such as ECHO, CARBON, BAR FLAM, THE BACKROOM, FLUX, EMPORIUM, NOUVO, QBAR. Consider his role in this past 13 years of dance scene locally & internationally, he’s happily in the right place at the right time, whereas getting there was also about a lot of hard work reading & knowing the music industries & also tailoring and weaving up music sets for the right audience at the right place with the right mood of music.
He has also played building sets and shared musics & decks with artist internationally from ROGER SANCHEZ, DIMITRI from Paris, PHIL K, MARC HUGHES, MARA, ANDY JARROD, DJ 19 from Japan, DJ MAAR from Japan, NICK WARREN, OWEN K, D.RAMIREZ, CHRIS CARGO, LUCIENT FOORT, LEON ROBERT, KING UNIQUE, PARKS & WILSON, YOUSEF, LISA LOUD, SCUMFROG, DAVE SEAMAN, PETE DOYLE, MISTRESS BABBARA, JON CARTER, PARKS & WILSON, SIMON COYLE, PETE TONG, AUDIOWHORES, CHRIS FORTIER, DAVID MORALES, TIMO MAAS, PETE TONG and CARL COX just to name a couple.

Fast forward to today, Eddy has established himself as a very versatile, solid DJ within the dance community. His residency in one of the very well known local club (PASSION) in KL has earned him quite a reputation to the local clubbers as well as people from all over the globe.
