A DJ who is in a class of his own, Jason Martin has been in the industry for the past 17 years, withstanding the demanding needs of the dance music scene. Music has always been the core of Jason M's life. His career began as a green horn back in the year1990, inspired by the cream of DJ's of that era. He had his first break the same year at Picadally Disco, and from then on it was a journey of good things to come. After a few years of holding residencies at various clubs, Jason M mastered the art of playing Retro Music, from the funky 70's groove to the 80's sing along club classics, where he adds a twist of pop and wave. Seamlessly mixing the revolutionary 90's music, with a touch of new jack swing and dance floor fillers from the club music forefronts. Needless to say he truly plays this genre in an infectious manner and with this he finally established himself as one of Malaysia’s finest.
In 1995, he was the resident DJ of Connection Underground where he played a big role in the growth of the dance and clubbing culture and at the same time he was prominent in the success of the first few party’s and gigs that was organized to enhance the clubbing and the dance culture, soon turning Connection Underground to one of the finest dance clubs that KL had to offer. While all this was happening, DMC DJ competitions were no exceptional, displaying his turntablism skills throughout the years.

In 1999, known for his ability of being versatile, he was the resident DJ of Planet Hollywood when they opened their doors to Kuala Lumpur. His DJ sets were sought out by the patrons of PHKL for being innovative and entertaining. Year 2001, he joined Liquid and later came The Disco, where he has shown great capability and professionalism and won the hearts of Malaysian party goers. To add to his contribution towards the music industry, Jason M has played along side some of the finest International DJ's to grace this part of the world. Keen to always improvise his skills, Jason M indulged in the art of remixing and producing music and has never failed to impress. Currently having established his own company SOUND DESIGN, Jason M has also ventured into other related fields such as his DJ academy, event management company just to name a few.

Many more nights of thrill and excitement to be expected coz; Jason M is here to stay in the world of Dance Music Culture.
