DJ Krates

Most of you might never heard about DJ Krates. DJ Krates was born on 10 th September and was raised in Klang. He started DJ-ing at the age of 15, when he enrolled in Mixology DJ Academy owned by the number 1 DJ in Malaysia, DJ Fuzz.

After finishing the course, he started spinning in events such as prom night and weddings. After a while, he stayed in Mixology DJ Academy as a instructor. Being a part of Mixology DJ Academy and Fuzz's student have taught him a lot of things about HipHop and clubbing scenes.

At the early stage of his DJ-ing career, he only spinned in club just for replaced his sifu, DJ Fuzz, if his sifu cant make it. Started from that, his talent was seen and have been recruited to Top Notch DJ along side with his sifu, DJ Fuzz, and his colleague, DJ N-Trix and DJ R-Que. With Top Notch Party, he have been given the oppurtunity to show his talents to peoples in a few clubs in Kuala Lumpur.

DJ Krates also have been participate in various of DJ battle in Malaysia, such as, Fort Minor DJ Competition, Malaysia DJ Battle, and Juice DJ Quest. Not only in Malaysia, he also spread his music trough the region. He have been spinned in UK and Laos. In Laos, he have been invited by the local HipHop group called L.O.G to scratch for their upcoming album.

Recently, DJ Krates has started involving in beat-making and making his own party break. Beside DJ-ing, DJ Krates is also a student in Universiti Tenaga Nasional(UNITEN). Eventhough he have been working as a DJ, but education is still important to him. He believe that, to be a good DJ, he also need to have a good educational background.
