Thesuperglo
thesuperglo is Malaysian psytrance disk-jockey Khalil Kenneth Lui, co-founder and A&R coordinator of the FoundationKL.org DJ and producer collective since 2006.

Growing up on Penang Island, off the west coast of Malaysia, thesuperglo gained initial exposure through prolific residencies within the island's primal underground circuit.

In 2005, after relocating himself to Kuala Lumpur, thesuperglo embraced the sounds and philosophies of goa / psytrance after experiencing his first Full Moon parties in Thailand. Reinforced with his techno and progressive mixing styles, his DJ sets have seen many dancefloors exploding with his hard-paced and powerful energy.

Currently, thesuperglo defiantly represents an outlying sound amongst the commercial dirge of manufactured Asian music. His involvement with the South East Asian dance music community has created a huge impact on the Internet; some of his online mix-sets gathering an average of 20,000 - 30,000 monthly downloads on FoundationKL.org.

Other than FoundationKL, thesuperglo is also at the helm of the EPIC TRIBE, Malaysia’s premier psychedelic and goa trance collective. The EPIC TRIBE is a rapidly growing psychedelic and goa trance collective of a different kind. Founded in early 2007, the collective has since received a fervent following of artists, musicians, promoters, and party people stretching across the South East Asian region.

The EPIC TRIBE is also closely affiliated with Singapore’s psytrance collective, Om Project. Both collectives frequently trade artists through various monthly events. Currently, both collectives are collaborating on several indoor and outdoor parties planned for Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

With experience in coordinating renowned large-scale events, namely; Regenerate: Redzone feat. Felix da Housecat, Adam Freeland, and Eddie Halliwell and the Bacardi B-live series at Ruums and Maison. thesuperglo is now one of the driving forces behind EPIC Tribe successful underground psy and goa trance parties held monthly at Palate Palette KL.  

With experience playing alongside other seasoned names in the South East Asian psytrance scene such as DJ 3hm (Nabi Records, Osirion Records), DJ Cacofonix (Namaha Records), DJ Fantapsy (Shaman Films Records), Morningstar (Om Project) and NStomp (Om Project) among others. thesuperglo’s signature dark, forest style psytrance sound is force to be reckoned with so it’s no wonder he’s rapidly becoming synonymous with Malaysian psytrance.
