Nicholas Choong is one of KL's top DJ/producers and has released three solo albums; 'Dreams' (2005), 'In The Nick Of Time' (2006) & 'Telekinetic' (2007). 'Dreams' was the 'Best Local Album of 2005' (Juice Magazine) and since his debut 3 years ago, many of his tracks has been licensed to local dance compilations such as Adlib Records' 'Technology' & Gillazia Records' 'Presence KUL02 & Presence KUL03', to name a few.

Nicky's 4th album; 'Retroelectro' has just been released in the month of July 2008 and its is exclusively distributed in Malaysia by Adlib Records (www.adlibdirect.com).

'Retroelectro' features 12 original dance tracks never heard before; mixed into a 1HR non-stop dance music CD. Among its highlights, 'Retroelectro' features a remix of DJ Gabriel's 'Omie' (track #4) as well as a vocal track with Ani called 'Give Me Love' (track #12). 'Seasons' (track #11) has been officially remixed and released online through beatport.com and itunes through Gatecrasher's resident DJs Nick Riley & Andy Durrant's UK label Nu Breed Music.

Nicky C will be on airwaves for DJ Gabriel & Joey G's dance music radio show 'Turn It Up' on Capitol FM 88.9 on Thursday the 24th of July 2008 @ 8pm onwards to talk about the new album 'Retroelectro'. Please tune in!

The album tour for 'Retroelectro' will begin on Saturday, August the 23rd @ The Loft, Zouk KL from 10pm onwards and will take Nicky and his music to various clubs around KL, Melaka, Penang, Sabah, Jakarta & Melbourne. The tour dates will be officially released online at www.djnickyc.com in September 2008.
