Located along Asian Heritage Row off Jalan Sultan Ismail, The Loft KL opened for business last year as one of the sleekest clubs in Kuala Lumpur.
The blue-lit stairs leading up to the club may not seem like much but once up there, you’re greeted by all things glitzy and you begin to realize that The Loft is in fact a club of decent size spread over a single floor. Coming off the stairs, you’ll see the island bar, surrounded by contemporary décor and furnishing and a high ceiling. Beyond the island bar is the dance floor with the usual array of intelligent lights and lasers, and an elevated DJ console flanked by a large plasma screen.
Spinning house music on regular days are resident DJs Wan Di and Marco. Thursdays are reserved for guest DJs from Café Flam who spin R&B. Wednesdays are for disco and retro house while Tuesdays are for 80’s and old school music. When it comes to music, The Loft scores pretty well.
As with every other club, Wednesdays are Ladies Night - ladies walk in free and enjoy free sultry premiums. The week starts picking up on Thursdays before things get really busy on Fridays and Saturdays where the place is usually packed full to the brim. If you’re keen on booking a VIP table for the weekends, make sure you do it a few days in advance.
Drink prices are reasonable for a place with lofty standards, especially the cocktails. This club has a range of reasonably priced cocktails that are more biased towards fruity flavours and they are definitely worth savouring. The menu also includes mocktails, juices, coffee, martinis, shooters, champagne and wine, most of which are moderately priced, if not pricey. The club also boasts award-winning bartenders. Under The Loft KL, there are three club and one restaurant. They are: - Cynna Bar
- UPSTAIRS
- SPACE
- Mezza Notte
