What: French electronic music maestro, Mr Sam hits the decks at MOS-EUPHORIA with the globally renowned Opus compilation series – Opus Tertio! A fine artistic craftsman and multitalented producer in his own right, Mr Sam sets music trends without following current musical path.
Who: Hailing all the way from France, Mr Sam - known at Tourcoing City Hall as Samuel Paquet – began showcasing the art of DJ-ing in many French and Belgian clubs and various events in 1995. His DJ-ing career shot out of the roof of the club scene after he signed a lucrative and solid deal with Tiësto’s Black Hole Recordings which resulted in an unstoppable string of releases such as Lyteo (2005), Insight (2006), Split (2007) and Cygnes (2008), all to be considered the absolute highlights in his ever expanding discography.
Since then, he has been invited to DJ in Europe's finest venues, festivals and events like Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, Matrixx, Powerzone as well as clubs across East Asia and the Middle East.
In 2007, many of Mr Sam’s DJ sets were digitally translated onto silver discs, thus creating the renowned “Opus” compilation. Following suit was “Opus Secundo” in 2008; and “Opus Tertio” in late 2009; a 2-disc blue print featuring what is expected when Mr Sam is rocking the crowd in any parties or clubs around the world.
With a tight DJ schedule and a string of releases ready to be unleashed, Mr Sam is indeed on his way to the upper regions of his beloved scene.
