Throughout March and April, the PUMA Social Club Tour has brought together many after-hours athletes from around Malaysia, and has created a platform for fans of old-school diversions to come together online and offline to share in social exchange and friendly competition. Built around PUMA’s notion of Social Sports, the PUMA Social Club Tour engaged consumers with quirky interpretations of foosball and ping pong, and applauded accomplished individuals who enjoy the smell of victory and the agony of defeat, keeping track of their life’s Scoreboard, whilst wearing their favourite pair of PUMA Clydes. The kick-off for the PUMA Social Club Tour took place on 11 March 2011 at Palete Palette, Kuala Lumpur, and it then made its way to Monkey Bar, Penang and Café Roost Juice + Bar, Johor Bahru. All parties featured rip-roaring performances by James Baum, DJs Anowl & Hackeem Elektrischer, and was made more fun with appearances by PUMA Social Friends such as Fly FM radio DJs, Phat Fabes & Ben; One FM radio DJs, Nicholas, Jane & Suki; TV personalities, Jay Menon, Roshan Narayan, Rina Omar, Patricia Sue-Lin Knudsen & Zain Saidin; musicians such as Danel Lee, Nadhira & Dennis Lau (and many more!), and contests galore -- where lucky winners took home with them PUMA apparel from the latest Social range. Coming full circle, the finale of the PUMA Social Club Tour will be held in Kuala Lumpur, on Friday, 15 April 2011 @ Black Box, Map @ Publika, Level G2-01, Block A5, Dutamas, 1 Jalan Dutamas 1, Off Jalan Duta, 50480 Kuala Lumpur. Similar to the launch, there will be a host of social sports on display such as ping-pong and foosball, drinks and an exciting line-up of entertainment (look out for a special ‘mesh-up’ featuring DJ Anowl, Zain Saidin, Nadhira & Dennis Lau) for burgeoning after-hours athletes to enjoy. |
