Max Graham needs no introduction, from his Trance hits “Airtight” and “I Know You’re Gone” to his monster 80’s remake of “Owner of a Lonely Heart” he knows how to make, and play, records that get the dance floor moving. Debuted in DJMag Top 100 as the highest new entry of 2001, earning himself a spot at #23, Graham is never one to stick to a single style of easily marketable music but rather follows his own path of finding great tracks from so many different genres Prepare to hear House, Trance, Progressive and even Techno all mixed in one set. Let go, enjoy the music and you’ll have the night of your life to kick off the month of April at Ministry of Sound – EUPHORIA Graham was born in London, England and lived in Spain, New York City and Los Angeles before settling in Ottawa in 1989. At age 15 in 1986, he began as a hip-hop and scratch DJ before discovering and falling in love with the house music scene between 1992 and 1994. Max was also instrumental in the creation of the famous Atomic club in Ottawa, and his weekly 6-hour sets at Atomic are the stuff of legend among fans. Max exploded onto the producing scene with the releases of “Airtight” and “Tell You,” both of which became international hits. Airtight was nominated for a Juno Award in 2001. This success got some attention from the world dance music scene and Graham was asked to mix Tranceport CD #4, which was also met with huge success, and spurred a world tour in 2001. This rapid rise in attention led Graham to be voted into spot number 23 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list, the highest entry for a newcomer in 2001. Max returned big in 2010 with the first artist album of his career entitled RADIO. This album has already spawned such hits as “Sun in the Winter” (feat. Neev Kennedy) and “Nothing Else Matters” (Feat Ana Criado) both strongly supported by Markus Schulz and Armin Van Buuren. To further this massive year, Max released Volume 2 in his successful Cycles compilation series, delivering a double CD of perfectly programmed melody, energy and emotion backed up by the newest addition to Di.fm’s Progressive Station entitled “Cycles Radio” (Two hours monthly). His distinctive style remains difficult to pin down, covering genres like house, progressive, techno, disco, and trance to name just some.
