After a short hiatus - Malaysian DJ/Producer Nicky C hits back with his first promo mix for 2010. As a DJ and producer, Nicky has received support from Laurent Garnier, Hernán Cattáneo, Jaytech, Aldrin, Andy Moor, Miss Nine, Flash Brothers, Inkfish, Chloe Harris, Tash, Sasha Le Monnier, C-Jay, Luke Porter, Markus Schulz, Darin Espilson & Hyline, to name a few.
On his 1st DJ promo mix for 2010, Nicky goes into deep tribal territory. Opening the set with a house inspired track called 'Disco Pasolla' by newcomer MONO, Nicky quickly sets the pace with mixes of Mr. Fluff's 'Avian' and Enrique Echd's remix of Topo & LMK's 'Singer Traditional', forthcoming respectively on 220V Recordings & Elektrax Progressive.
Moving into dub tech territory, Nicky then drops Aldrin & Akien's Regrooved mix of 'Don't Let Me Go', which is a pleasant buildup for Antii's 'Always Say Always', followed by Nicky's tech remix of Mikel's 'Body Shake', forthcoming on Tronic B7 Records in April 2010.
At 30 mins, Nicky throws down 'Sad Symphony' by Mr. Fluff before progressing into 'Ready To Go' by Jerome Isma-Ae, Chris Reece & EDX. The last track is Nicky's forthcoming release on Elektrax Progressive in April 2010 called 'I Feel I'm Burning' ( Nicky C Remix ) by DJ Miss Ka-rine & Axel G.
