M.C. Asia Music Factory "The Beginning" Post Event Release and Photos

The inaugural Music Conference Asia (M.C.Asia) Music Factory “The Beginning”, held at the stylish grounds of Life Centre Kuala Lumpur this evening, has successfully attracted conference participants, both industry professionals and music enthusiasts of the Electronic Dance Music, from the region, including Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Thailand just to name a few.

Specifically, during the first workshop, Preach spoke on three key topics including the “Marketing Strategy for Professional DJs”, “The Love-hate Relationship between Technology and Traditional DJ-ing”, and “Knowing Your Tools to be the One in Music Production”. In the second workshop, Marcel touched on “The Evolution of Music Label”, “The Challenges in the Digital Age”, and “Artist development and Music Label Promotions”.

At the end of the day-time workshops, ardent music lovers and media representatives were also given the exclusive opportunity to interact with Preach and Marcel on a personal level to explore related topics through random group discussion.

While it was all hard and serious work during the day, the organizer has also thrown an appreciation party in the evening to entertain and reward everyone. Besides international headliners Preach and Marcel Woods, the no.1 most popular Nordic DJ 2008, Marcus Schossow was also invited to perform at the party, supported by our local talents Affiq and Funko Munky. Throughout the night, party-goers were entertained with a wide range of infectious high-energy beats, from raw vocals, nu-trance, progressive techno, to electronically fused cross-genres music, brewed by the performing artists who were adamant to deliver a night of pure auditory exhilaration.

In an effort to further contribute towards the growth of the music community, the event organizer, Global Sound Masters will be contributing RM2 to the “GSM Music Fund” for every ticket sold. The money collected will go towards the nurturing of new talents in the region. M.C.Asia Music Factory “The Beginning” is proudly organized and presented by Global Sound Masters, the second chapter of the M.C.Asia Music Factory, titled “The Creation” will be happening on the 23rd January 2010.
